TERMS & CONDITIONS
When you check-in, you may be asked to provide valid photographic identification, such as drivers licence, 18+ card or passport.
If you are unable to provide such identification your booking maybe cancelled and you may be liable to pay Ramada Hotel & Suites Ballina an amount equal to the full booking amount, plus any other costs incurred by the hotel in connection with the booking. Accordingly any pre-payment you have made in relation to the booking will be forfeited under this term.
Reservations, Refunds & Cancellations
PAYMENTS & PRE – AUTHORISATIONS
Payment for your reservation is required at the time of check in.
Payment for your reservation can be made by cash, Eftpos, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Unfortunately we cannot accept Diners. Please note a surcharge will apply to payments made by credit cards. The surcharge applied to these cards may vary and is displayed at the time payment for the booking is to be made.
As of 1st October 2020, one (1) night’s accommodation will be required at the time of booking. This must be paid via Credit Card with the balance of your accommodation required upon arrival at the hotel.
Upon arrival you will also be asked to present a valid credit card for security which will be authorized for an amount up to $200.00 which will cover any expenses related to your account. Contactless payment options are preferred. The Pre-authorisation process validates your credit card and protects both the card holder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents.
Please note pre-authorisations can take between 3-10 days for funds to be returned to your account, for more information on this practice please contact your card issuer.
When a credit card is not available you will be required to leave a minimum $200 cash deposit/bond with reception. This bond must be paid on arrival. The cash bond will be refunded on departure providing there are no incidental charges left outstanding on your personal account.
Any quote given is an estimate only of the price and the price will only be confirmed once a written confirmation is issued by the hotel.
Room rates are correct as of booking date and cannot be amended once confirmed.
Reservation amendments are subject to availability and applicable pricing at the time the amendment is requested.
Whilst the hotel will do everything possible to accommodate special requests such as specific rooms and outlooks, the hotel does not guarantee that special requests can be accommodated
All bookings made with participating websites or direct with the hotel are subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at Ramada Hotel & Suites Ballina under the booking once any payment is made in relation to the booking.
In the unlikely event that the hotel cannot accommodate your reservation due to overbooking, the hotel will at no additional expense relocate you into an alternative property of comparable quality and in a comparable location. Should a comparable property not be available, the hotel may locate you to a lesser quality hotel and in a less comparable location, should this occur the hotel will pay an amount which represents the difference between the rates.
If you do not agree with the alternative property you may cancel your booking and you will be issued with a full refund or booking credit.
CANCELLATIONS, NO SHOWS & TERMINATIONS
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the date of arrival. One nights’ accommodation fee will apply if you cancel a reservation within 24 hours of arrival
If you do not show up for your booking or terminate your booking early after you have checked in you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
HIGH SEASON CONDITIONS
For peak/high season reservations a 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking with the balance paid on arrival.
Peak season applies to both the Christmas and Easter periods and a 3 night minimum stay is required during this time.
(Christmas 22nd December 2018 – 12th January 2019 and Easter weekend 19th -21st April 2019).
The cancellation period during high season is 14 days prior to arrival. Any cancellation within 14 days of your arrival will forfeit the deposit as a cancellation fee. Failing to arrive at the hotel will forfeit the deposit as a No Show Fee.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is 2:00pm on the day of arrival.
If you wish to guarantee your ability to check-in prior to 2:00pm you must book an additional nights stay and pay the applicable rate for that additional night.
Check-out is 11:00am on the day of departure.
If you wish to check-out later than 11.00am, you must call the front desk on ‘9’ to request approval.
The hotel may approve a request for late check-out at their discretion, depending on the operational requirements of the day.
Late check outs after 12:00pm may be charged at the rate of $20 per hour and late departures after 2:00pm will be charged an additional nights’ accommodation at the applicable rate.
Complimentary car parking is available; however it is subject to availability.
Child or Children means a person or persons aged between 2 years and 11 years; Infant means a person under the
age of 2 years; and Adult means a person aged over 18 years. All ages will be determined from the date at which accommodation commenced.
Children and Infants sharing a room with their parents or guardians may do so free of charge if using existing bedding (excluding sofa bed).
Children and Infants may not stay in any room without an Adult.
Gift vouchers are not refundable or redeemable for cash.
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 Years from the date of issue.
A surcharge will apply if gift vouchers are purchased using a credit or debit card.
Gift vouchers are to be treated like cash and if they are defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen they will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed.
No Party Policy
Ramada Hotel & Suites actively enforces a no party and excessive noise policy. Parties will not be tolerated at the property. At the discretion of Ramada’s staff on duty, guests will be evicted without refund and any subsequent damage will be charged to the guest. We reserve the right to evict any guests and/or visitors. No warning will be provided.
All visitors must depart the building by 11:00pm each evening. One registered guest (whose name has been provided to reception) is permitted to be in the room after this time. This is also to comply with fire safety regulations. The maximum number of visitors allowed in each apartment is 1 person for hotel rooms, 2 for One & Two Bedroom Apartments and 3 for Three Bedroom Apartments
Any private individual who wishes to make a copy of this information for personal record may do so. Any business, or organisation wishing to copy or plagiarise any part of this information must first obtain authorisation from Ramada Hotels and Suites Ballina. If authorisation is not obtained, the business or organisation will be infringing copyright laws.
