We are committed to keeping you safe and healthy during your stay in beautiful Ballina.

The wellbeing and safety of our guests, visitors and team members is of the utmost importance us, so we ask that if you are experiencing fever, dry cough or any flu like symptoms you must postpone your visit and return when you are feeling better.

Our region (Ballina LGA) is currently not under stay at home orders, (correct as of 6/10/21) however some restrictions do remain, please familiarise yourself with these before checking into our hotel. https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/limited-restrictions

Border and Travel Restrictions

Please check your relevant local border restrictions prior to booking with us as the hotel is unable to accept any visitors in breach of local or state closures. Please follow this link for more information – https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates.  Guests from nominated hotspots will also not be permitted to enter the hotel.

Online Pre-Check In

We have online pre-check making it a quicker, safer and contactless process for you. You will be emailed a link to our guest portal 48 hours prior to your arrival. Follow the steps to complete the check-in process and Covid-19 declaration.

Entering the hotel

You must wear a mask and sanitise prior to entry. All guests are required to provide proof of address and photo identification. We may also conduct a temperature check with a contactless thermometer.  Based on current government restrictions, appropriate travel documentation must be presented if you are travelling from a restricted area.

If you reside from a known Covid-19 hotspot we ask that you postpone your travel as we are unable to accept reservations from particular postcodes.

Entry may be refused if the above conditions are not met.

Masks

You will notice our staff wearing masks during your stay to protect your wellbeing. You may not be able to see our smiles, but we can’t wait to welcome you here for a safe and relaxing stay.

Social Distancing, Rules and Practices

Please maintain a minimum 1.5m distance from all other patrons and utilise  sanitising stations provided on levels 1 and 2. Our lovely staff will advise of any further procedures and will be happy to answer any questions if you are unsure.

Cleaning Procedures

We continue to uphold strict cleaning procedures to reduce the risk of transmission within our hotel and community. We follow recommended cleaning protocols via Safe Work NSW and use high grade hospital detergents, disinfectants and sanitisers in every room prior to your arrival and during your stay.

All high touch areas are rigorously sanitised throughout the day including but not limited to key cards, lift buttons, door handles, benches and toilets.

Gym and Pool

Our gym is available by booking only and is limited to one person at a time between the hours of 7:00am – 7:00pm.   Please see reception to make a booking.

Our pool is open between 7:00am – 9:00pm and social distancing must be adhered to at all times.
